The 峰项目 promotes community-engaged教学 and 学习 at 科罗拉多大学 to connect campus knowledge and community impact.

To work toward this vision and fulfill the mission, we:

  1. 教育 stakeholders about best practices
  2. 连接 CC educators, students, and partners to 共同创造: 课程 that provide opportunity to teach for community impact and 学习 about changemaking, and 
  3. 促进 community-engaged教学, 学习, and re搜索 at CC through recruiting, 提倡, 讲故事的努力

The visual below summarizes the process through which we connect CC educators to community partners to 共同创造 community-engaged 学习 classroom projects.

在有限的时间内, those who participate in the 峰项目 and are successfully "匹配ed" will be eligible to receive project development stipends ($500 each for faculty and community partners) to honor the time, 能力, and thought-work that goes into developing community-engaged 学习 projects.  This funding is generously provided through the Bonner Foundation's Community-Engaged Learning Initiative, through which the CCE received a grant. Funds will be offered until grant funding is exhausted.

2023-2024 Deadlines for Interest Forms

CC教育者:

  • Spring Courses: Priority deadline is the end of block 1(September 24), with a final deadline of the end of block 2 (October 22).
  • Summer Courses: Priority deadline is the end of half block (January 21), with a final deadline of the end of block 5 (February 18).
  • Fall Courses: Priority deadline is the end of block 7 (April 21), with a final deadline of the end of block 8 (May 19).

社区合作伙伴: 

  • Spring Courses: Priority deadline is October 18, with a final deadline of November 15. 
  • Summer Courses: Priority deadline is February 14, with a final deadline of March 13. 
  • Fall Courses: Priority deadline is May 15, with a final deadline of June 21.

CC educators, students, and partners 学习 about best practices of community-engaged教学 and 学习 through CCE workshops and resources.

CC教育工作者建议 a course they'd like to connect to community work. A Call for Interest of CC faculty and staff educators will be held blocks 1-2 (for spring 课程), half block and block 5 (for summer 课程) and 7-8 (for fall 课程). Click here for more information and to fill out an Interest Form.

CCE试图这样做 匹配 educator expertise and interests to the mission, goals, or needs of a community partner. If we can’t find a 匹配 that cycle, we can try again the next cycle.
